  5. Dear Readers
Due to water shortage the water problem is aggravating day by day. Therefore, it is better that we should wake up to minimise this problem by saving water. Do not use potable water in gardening, washing vehicles and irrigation.

  8. Total Dissolved Solids:
Dear readers nowadays the water filters are being got installed by consumers, but before installing any water purifier you should consult a water expert as the salesmen are misguiding the consumers by precipitation tests. If the TDS of your water is less tha or equal to 500mg/l then u should not purchase R.O.
About 97-99% , TDS in Natural Water is contributed only by Six major ions i.e. Calcium, Magnesium,Sodium, Bicarbonate, Chloride, and Sulphate. The balance TDS is contributed by number of contaminants like iron, potassium, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, fluoride, trace metals and organic substances. The permissible limit of TDS is 500mg/l. However in absence of better alternative source it may be relaxed upto 2000mg/l.

  21. Respected E.I.C. Sir,
While submitting the case for creation of posts kindly consider the change of designation also as the designation of CHEMIST is misunderstood with a medicine seller. The proposed designations may be SCIENTIFIC OFFICER/ WATER ANALYST
SENIOR SCIENTIFIC OFFICER/ SENIOR WATER ANALYST
PRINCIPAL SCIENTIFIC OFFICER/ ASSISTANT CHIEF WATER ANALYST
CHIEF SCIENTIFIC OFFICER/ CHIEF WATER ANALYST

    sir/Madam
Kindly let me know the criteria used to decide which town in Haryana would have the sewage pipeline system and which not? I looked through the department website but could not find any criterias.
I must applaud the active use of the blog by the department, it has come as pleasant surprise to me and a welcome one too.
